Hills West Rec Club is excited to be partnering with Splash N Swim School again for our 2026 Summer Swim Team!  HWRC Members will receive a significant discount compared to Splash N Swim School’s rates. 2026 HWRC Swim Team Dates:

Monday through Thursday, June 15 through August 6

Practices are 45 minutes long

Advanced Swim Team: 8:00-8:45 am

Beginner Swim Team: 8:45-9:30 am

Included in your Swim Team Registration Fee:

• 8 weeks of coached practices
• Opportunity to participate in 2 or more swim meets with other local swim teams.  (Meets are typically held Friday evenings or Saturday mornings.)

Who Can Join: Any child who has completed and passed level 5 swim lessons (or the equivalent) can join swim team. Our Bylaws state:

“As per the requirements of swim team, all swimmers must be able to swim 50m (two laps) if they are older than 8 or 25m (one lap) if they are 8 or younger. These laps must be completed without stopping. Additionally, they must be able to swim all four strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle). While we are here to help critique and improve these strokes, the basic skill must be present. These requirements have been in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all of those involved in swim team. If your child does not meet these requirements at this time (as will be determined at the first practice) they may begin the season in level 5 swim lessons and transfer to swim team mid-season or continue in level 5 swim lessons until they are ready.”
