HWRC BOARD MEMBER CANDIDATE BIOS
Hi, I’m Michelle Hendel and I have served as your President these last 2 years here at Hills West Recreation Club. My husband and I moved to the Tri-Cities November 1994 and we have been HWRC members since 2006. I have 2 boys – Nicholas 21 and Logan 17 (11th Grade – RHS). My husband, Brian, works for Energy Northwest. I am running again for the President position of the HWRC Board. These last 2 years have just flown by! Lots of positive things have been happening for HWRC and I would like to see what other great things we can get accomplished here at our club over the next 2 years. Thank You.
My name is Cecilia Garza, we’ve lived in Hills West going on four years now. I have a background in Criminal Justice, Counseling and Education. I have experience working with diverse populations in many social service programs, as well as law enforcement. Currently, I am a substitute teacher for the Richland School District and SAHM.
What I would bring to the board is the management of records aspect, plus attention to detail.
I live directly across the street from the Rec club which is very convenient for meetings and/or working with members. We take pride in our Hills West Rec club and it would be a great way for me to serve our community.
